About
Hello, and welcome to my blog!
My experience in Ukraine started in 2018, when I joined the Peace Corps. While in Ukraine, I spent my time teaching English to middle and high-schoolers, learning how to speak Ukrainian, traveling the country, and meeting all sorts of interesting people along the way. After my stint in the Peace Corps, I returned to Ukraine and resided there with my wife until 10 days before the war broke out.
My passions are Ukrainian political and cultural history, international relations, writing, and football. After four years of living in Ukraine and achieving professional fluency in Ukrainian, (I like to believe) I have a deep knowledge of modern Ukrainian culture, and am excited to share my insight with you all.
